With the cancellation of Expo West 2020, we are hyper-focused on making Expo East 2020 the biggest, most important event for our industry this year, but in the meantime we want to do everything we can to move our industry forward.
To that end, we have a number of free opportunities for our exhibitors to promote their products, tell their stories, and to get in front the industry's most important retail buyers. We have opened up new features to all Expo West Exhibitors, and will be promoting this information to our entire Attendee audience between now and Expo East.
The Expo West onboarding portal will be reopened until April 30. If your products have a UPC code and ingredients, you can go to the onboarding portal to submit a marketing display image and label flat for all products that you would have shown at your booth -- and it’s completely free. Once submitted they will be digitized and assigned numerous searchable attributes, and will be shown on the directory within approximately 10 business days.
For any product types that do not fit Label Insight guidelines (business services, bulk ingredients, home goods & accessories etc.), you can submit up to 8 “products” by sending information to NPEC@informa.com . Include product name, description, image and suggested category type and our team will load these to your Expo Connect profile.
We’re opening up some premium features of the Expo Connect platform (free of charge) so that all brands can use video to tell their story. You can submit the links to up to 6 videos hosted on YouTube, Vimeo or Brightcove along with your company name and Expo West booth number, and we will load them to your Expo Connect profile. You can introduce your company, tell your founder’s story, demo your new products – really anything you’d want a retail buyer to know. Send these to NPEC@informa.com and the Expo Connect team will be standing by to assist.
We will also open up the marketing documents feature for free so that all brands can provide more detailed information for retail buyers to download and review. This could include a company brochure, product catalog, marketing sheets, price sheets- really anything you would have had at your booth. You can send up to 10 pdf or word documents with a maximum size of 10MB each to NPEC@informa.com and the Expo Connect team will load them to your profile.
We will enable all companies to show a company logo and extend their company description for free. To do this, return to the Exhibitor Portal and upload your logo file and update your description there. The Expo Connect platform will pull those down and automatically add them to your company profile within 24-48 hours.
We will also open up the Press Release feature as part of your company profile to everyone for free. You can announce your latest product launch, feature your company news, or highlight any other major announcements. Simply return to the Exhibitor Portal and add up to 5 press releases there. The Expo Connect platform will pull those down and automatically add them to your profile within 24-48 hours.
Similar to press releases, we will open up the show specials part of the company profile for free, so that any company can offer show specials to retailers and other buyers. To add show specials to your profile, return to the Exhibitor Portal and enter up to 5 show specials there. The Expo Connect platform will pull those down and automatically add them to your company profile within 24-48 hours.
Send us links to your social media accounts! We accept Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. Email NPEC@informa.com with links along with your company name and Expo West booth number and we’ll add these to your profile.
