Entrepreneur, innovator, strategist and journalist, Jim has brought positive disruption, leadership and solutions to all he has done. Today, Jim is the founder of NatchCom, the natural/organic’s industry’s first conference focused solely on digital sales and marketing. Previously, Jim led at the highest levels in three professions — journalism, advertising, and social entrepreneurism. He served as chief executive officer at the Sir Richard’s Condom Company, where he led the social-impact venture into two continents, 11,000 locations, and triple-digit revenue growth in just two years. He also led the expansion of Sir Richard's highly-acclaimed condom distribution program in Haiti. Jim was chosen as DETAILS Magazine’s 2014 “Maker of the Year”, one of 34 visionaries that included Nike, Pharrell Williams and Cadillac. Previously, Jim served as senior strategist at the renowned creative shop, Crispin, Porter + Bogusky, and as managing director/director of strategy at the boutique agency, TDA_Boulder, which branded such companies as Izze Soda and Justin’s Nut Butter. Prior to advertising, Jim was an award-winning journalist for 16 years, his work reaching audiences at Newsweek, US News & World Report, BBC Worldwide, New York Times and others. Today, Jim consults with start-ups to Fortune 100 companies on social impact and corporate social responsibility strategies; teaches innovation at the University of Colorado Leeds Business School; and lives in Boulder, CO with his wife, two kids, two rescued dogs, and, at last count, 11 chickens.
