Bill Tuohig is Sr. Vice President and Market Leader for New Hope Network within the Global Health & Nutrition Network of informa. He is responsible for the strategy, development and management of Data & Insights products that deliver innovation, intelligence and insights to the natural products industry. Mr. Tuohig has over 20 years of experience in management consulting, software product management, and technology-based market research. His expertise involves blending data, software, analytics and industry expertise to create innovative solutions for clients.
Prior to joining Penton, Mr. Tuohig was Senior Director of Social Media and Text Analytics products at J.D. Power and Associates. While there he pioneered new ways of blending traditional market research with social media analytics to create new types of data and insights solutions for J.D. Power clients across a range of industries.
Prior to joining J.D. Power and Associates in 2008, Mr. Tuohig served as the Vice President of Product Management for Umbria, which was acquired by J.D. Power in 2008. Previously, he oversaw Voice of the Customer (VOC) solutions for Informative Inc. (acquired by Satmetrix), helping such customers as Bose, Sprint and Mars with product development, marketing and branding initiatives. He also spent a number of years consulting for such prominent firms as Deloitte Consulting, Coopers & Lybrand and Sapient.
Mr. Tuohig received a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
