A food scientist by training and marketer by choice, Kristie uses both her right and left brain to successfully launch products and drive growth for food and agribusiness companies. She has more than 20 years of product development and marketing strategy experience in both the retail and foodservice spaces. For consumer packaged goods, foodservice, commodity and ingredient companies, Kristie works to uncover and translate consumer insights into smart strategies and profitable programs.
She has been a brand manager in both the CPG and foodservice industries. At Applebee’s, she led the brand’s menu strategy, which included the launches of key menu platforms and Weight Watchers® licensed menu items. Kristie has a master’s degree of management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in consumer food science from Iowa State University.
